Jeremy performs at Dave Myles and Luci Baja's House Concert in Burnaby, British Columbia on Sunday, October 18th 2026. 3pm to 5pm, $20 cover!

Jeremy's music is a throwback to when guitar slingin' singer-songwriters weren't afraid to turn it up, look you in the eye and play more than the same tired four chords. He embodies the soul of an old-time troubadour, but bitten by a radioactive rockstar and smitten with jazz and musical theatre. John Apice of American Highways says "This is all far above the ordinary... A good time is guaranteed for all" while John Barlass at At the Barrier writes "Jeremy Facknitz is, indeed, a major talent – and, I can guarantee, like nothing you’ll have ever heard before."

Originally from Michigan but now living in Langley, BC, Jeremy was named a top 24 finalist in the 2020, 2022 and 2025 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competitions at Kerrville Folk Festival. His song "Smilin' At The Future" made him an Empower (Posi) Music Award Winner in 2023. His band "The Ottomans" won "Best New Alternative Band" at the Detroit Music Awards in 2001, beating out future rock n' roll hall of famers "The White Stripes".
