I'm very excited to announce that I'm firing up my successful and extremely rewarding "Tomorrow's Songwriters" program again!
In "Tomorrow's Songwriters" I work one-on-one with clients ages 12 and up and guide them through the process of writing their first song.
We typically work off the typical Nashville template of "verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus", but that's where the rules end. After that we just have fun! We can keep it light, or we can lean into the darkness. It doesn't even have to rhyme. We can try to write the worst song ever written (I promise that when we're done, it won't be!). We will set a goal on the first day and work toward it - and if we don't like where it's heading, we can change course. It's all an exercise in getting the creative juices flowing in a safe environment with an experienced, award-winning songwriter... and you'll learn so much about the craft along the way!
It helps if you can play an instrument (guitar, piano), but this is not required.
At the end of the 4 day session (one session per week) we record your parts, and I produce them with further instrumentation and give you a digital copy to share, or not share! If you'd rather not sing your own song, I have plenty of people who can do it for you. You retain all the rights to YOUR song.
The investment for 4 weekly sessions plus a digital copy of your song is $300. In-person sessions take place at my home studio in southwest Colorado Springs, but we can work together remotely from pretty much anywhere in the world!
